Okay, all but one of the articles for this month is up... are up? Hmm. Anyway, check them out, there's some good stuff and some interesting stuff. Norman's interview is pretty cool, and the Durinian info stuff it pretty neat. Okay, for some news! I've finished the Heirs of Ashes II manuscript and it's going into editing! So, that's really good. In the articles, there's not much on Black Sunrise - as in the update - but that could or could not change before the end of the month - and by that I mean there could be an update of the update. Hmm, what else should I tell you all. Well, I can't think of much now, just know there's lots and lots on the horizon. Anyway, for now, you should get your copies of After the End, Comes the Beginning and Heirs of Ashes, and if you have them already... umm... read them again.

Have a good day and don't forget to wash between your toes before eating with your fingers... or toes, as the case may be.

New month, new stuff! The new interviews and articles will be up and available to read by the end of the week. I'm saying again that Genesis Project: Heirs of Ashes and the re-release of Genesis Project: After the End, Comes the Beginning are now available to buy, click here!

May was a busy month, as we plotted things out for Genesis Project: The Hand of Darkness. The graphic novel I'm sure will please. The release date for the graphic novel has been pushed back to spring 2007, but it's not all bad news, because pushing the graphic novel back has opened way for Genesis Project: Heirs of Ashes II: Lords of the Shadows. Heirs of Ashes II, in a perfect world, would have been a massive 600 plus page novel with Heirs of Ashes I. I see the two books as one gigantic novel, and Heirs of Ashes II will be coming out this winter 2006.

There are a lot of very exciting things happening with Genesis Project right now and the future looks bright and full of adventure! Genesis Project: Dark Future is continuing along, but the web comic wont be updated as often as it used to, due only to the fact that our illustrator W.E. Gathercoal is up to his ears in work, but the story will continue along.

There's lots more to report of course, including Genesis Project at the World Book Expo in Washington D.C., but look for all of that and more this weekend.

Well, I've got to go and get back to working on Heirs of Ashes II, tweaking and all of that... I just left Essienn in a very bad situation and Patch and Vong are... well, you'll just have to wait until this winter...

You can see them above highlighted, check them out, and learn more about Genesis Project. Tomorrow there will be the release of the next Dark Future comic strip, in the mean time read the Dark Future interview, and learn about the behind the scenes making of the web comic.

I was talking to a fan yesterday of Genesis Project who is almost done reading Heirs of Ashes and I have to say she made my head feel quite big, saying things like she loves the book and all that. So, I guess it's pretty good... well I thought so to begin with. Anyway, the book is available at trafford.com, so, find out the story of Heirs of Ashes yourself. You can also read the interview about Heirs of Ashes, here on the website, it features W.E. Gathercoal, V.D. Ramsey, and meself, it gives you more information on the story and some of the making of stuff.

Hmm... oh, yeah, there have been some unmentionable difficulties with the book giveaway. The winner will be posted at the end of this week and that will finally be that.

Okay, moving on. Hmm... I don't know what else I have to say... not a heck of a lot, but, get your copy of Heirs of Ashes and enjoy!

Ahh, the wonderful smell of change. Well, as I'm sure you can see, we've done some more changes. I'm just trying to continue making the site better... this is better. So, on the poster thing above we see a bunch of stuff planned. The interviews and articles will begin next week - why put the thing up now you ask - it's a teaser. The links to the different articles and interviews will run under the picture above, and all you'll have to do is click on them and they'll take you where you want to go. I'll keep doing these little things whenever I update, but I'm just trying to add more variety.

Okay, now down to business. As I've said before, Heirs of Ashes is out to buy now, you may have snagged a little trouble on our link, it's being worked out. Until then, if you just must, must, must have the book, then go to trafford.com and in the search box type in Genesis Project: Heirs of Ashes and then hit enter, it will take you straight to the page where you can buy the book.

Dark Future has been updated - I know it's not Friday. Anyway, the comic is getting good, and it's just going to get better. Look forward to the W.E. Gathercoal interview next week.

Genesis Project is about to really get into the web comics action, every short story on the web site is going to be turned into a web comic, starting with The Heaven's Gate Incident. Now as out illustrators are few in number this isn't going to happen overnight, but be sure, we're working around the clock... or at least a lot, to get the web comics on line. There is more to come too, a post Heirs of Ashes comic series called The Lords of Shadows is in the works, no dates on when you'll see that yet, but it features Essienn Ri'a, and the other heroes right after Heirs of Ashes, and delves into the origins of the Lich!

Some news on Genesis Project: Dawn of Devils, unfortunately due to many reasons including time and money, the Dawn of Devils movie has been postponed indefinitely, but all hope is not lost, a Dawn of Devils graphic novel is now in production, and will probably be released some time in 2007.

The Hand of Darkness is still moving along, hopefully it will be out this fall, not much new to report there though, we've having a meeting this weekend.

Genesis Project: Heirs of Ashes is now Available to buy! Hooray!

So, now you know the adventure continues and all that! Check out the Heirs of Ashes page and learn more about the book before you read it. Also, we've updated Dark Future, with like a whole bunch of comics. Go check it out, it's cool stuff going down, and more to come. We're going back to the Monday, Wednesday, Friday thing.

We had a meeting yesterday with Norms! Hooray, he's back from collage. The Hand of Darkness graphic novel is shaping up. Norms isn't going to be the sole artist, Patch will be joining in as well as Ryan Shurtliff, both great artists and the graphic novel is going to be better for it.

We've got some exciting things planned for Genesis Project coming up so keep checking the site. The Re-issue of Genesis Project: After the End, Comes the Beginning is days away, so get ready for that, and buy both books, add them to your collection and get Genesis Project...ed... Anyway, the stories are awesome cool.

There is going to be an announcement about Dawn of Devils coming up soon, stay tuned.

Been a long time - we've been busy. We've signed off on Heirs of Ashes, the release date will be posted here soon. A large influx of Dark Future comic installments is also on the way! We've been busy with everything, and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down, but we've got many, many cool stories and things on the way. More comics hopefully, and more books. Just keep checking things here. There's lots to check and more will be updated soon. But be ready, Heirs of Ashes is on the way! The re-release of After the End, Comes the Beginning, won't be far behind. You can buy the original release of After the End, Comes the Beginning, now, by clicking here. Here we are again - hooray! The next installment of Genesis Project: Dark Future is up today, make sure you check it out. The book giveaway contest ends tomorrow, so get your submissions in and we'll announce a winner, and the books will be shipped as soon as they're released. More Genesis Project short stories will be coming soon, and I've already started on the third book of the Genesis Project series. Things are shaping up. Two new Shadows of the Past, Visions of the Future episodes are available to read now. The Episode Boolkoo Town is a good one, but that's the fourth one and you should read them in order... actually, I don't care how you read them, you can read them backwards for all I care, but I don't know how much good that'll do you. Also the second installment of Dark Future is available. If you haven't checked the web comic out yet, get checking, it's going to be a good adventure. Oh, my goodness! I am so very proud to announce the beginning of Genesis Project: Dark Future. Dark Future is a comic by W.E. Gathercoal and myself. The story takes place during the novel Genesis Project: After the End, Comes the Beginning and follows a Kalek team led by Vosk Balum, the head of the Kalek. W.E. does all of the art and shading and the comic looks great. W.E. and I came up with the story and I wrote it. It's going to be released panel by panel Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There are many awesome adventures in store in the comic and it is hopefully going to be the first of many. It's been a while. Well, there are two new short stories on the website, the first two Episodes of Shadows of the Past, Visions of the Future, check 'em out. More stories are coming from SOPVOF as we investigate the beginning of the Kasna war with the Planetary Empire. Also, there are some more aliens on the Maps and Worlds page. We want to thank people from all around the world for checking out Genesis Project Universe.com, we hope you're enjoying your visits and we welcome any comments you might have. It is our intention to bring the best product we can to fans of Genesis Project. In the quest to bring to you, the readers, the best quality book we can, I am happy to inform you all that After the End, Comes the Beginning and Heirs of Ashes will be released this spring. Keep checking the website for more updates as we get nearer to the release. In anticipation for the release, a new series of short stories will be beginning. The stories will be set before the events of After the End, Comes the Beginning and really prepare readers to jump into the adventure. The coming stories are set some thirty years before the events in After the End, Comes the Beginning and follow characters Vong Kidfar, Desfar Nakoo, and Ginnin Foog in a series of adventures that include the beginning of the Kasna war with the Planetary Empire.

I'll be beginning the series with Shadows of the Past, Visions of the Future, which will consist of some forty episodes. The episodes will probably be released in bi-weekly blocks and in an audio format. Keep checking her for more details.

We're also going to be updating the Maps and Worlds page and the Characters page pretty soon.

We would be happy to hear from anyone out there ideas on things you may want to see on the website.

On another topic, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD was released on Tuesday, if you haven't got it, go, go, go, it was awesome and deserves another watch. Also, check out the special features disk, they're pretty in depth and extensive, the best features yet, plus I learned a new word 'gobsmacked', yep, yep, didn't know that one until I watched the special features. Well, that's enough Harry Potter stuff for now.

Anyway there are lots of exciting things on the way for Genesis Project, so keep checking our website for updates and stories. In the words of countless villains through the ages 'This is only the beginning...' by saying this, it in no way implies that I'm a villain.

Gonna update you, girl, WOMAN! Erm... okay, so update time. Not so much to report at the moment, the books are in progress, so they'll be out soonish. Of course keep checking the site for updates. I'm working on short stories that will be coming soon and W.E. has begun working on his web comic, appearing soon here. I'm looking to get some more pictures on the website, they just need to get made. One new thing is if you go to the Genesis Project Universe link, you'll see a list of all the stories and what not available or coming soon, you can click on each of those babies and they'll take you where you want to go. Also did some updating on the characters page, some profiles updated and there's now a picture of Emeira. Also... well, in my Genesis Project master plan we have the books in list form like so...

Anyway, I'm thinking about starting those first three stories on the website for people to read and all that fun stuff, I hope to have pictures and stuff integrated and make it cool and stuff. Those stories give a lot of history that plays into ATECTB and HOA quite a bit. But I still have to talk with the others and decide for myself, but it's a very good possibility those three books may be appearing in some for or another on the website soon like.

Well, it's update time. Check out the After the End, Comes the Beginning page, and the Heirs of Ashes page, and the Hand of Darkness page, and the Dawn of Devils page, there's some cool stuff on the projects, and some trivia. Also check out the character page, there's some new pics, and two new, short profiles. There's a picture of a Toke on maps and worlds, with more to come, I just need W.E.'s help. I did some stuff to the images page too... I think, but I don't remember what... it's been a long day. Anyway, check stuff out, there's probably stuff done that I don't even remember doing.

Last word was, After the End, Comes the Beginning will be out at the beginning of March, Heirs of Ashes some time after that. The make a character contest is still on, two books and two posters are up for grabs. The first script for W.E.'s web comic is finished, he just needs to start drawing... I'll keep you updated. No new news on the Hand of Darkness graphic novel, but I'm calling Norms on Sunday. I'm hard at work on some short stories that will appear on the website probably in early April, they take place after Heirs of Ashes and I have to say, some cool stuff is happening... well, I think it's cool.

This is not Genesis Project news, but something I think worthy of addressing, I just bought Star Wars: Republic Commando: Triple Zero yesterday. If you don't know about Karen Traviss (the author), you're missing out. She is probably one of the best I've ever read, her attention to detail is amazing and she's created a harder grittier, darker look at the Star Wars universe. Even if you're not a Star Wars fan, I think it's a great read, go out an buy it, it's worth it... well, at least I think it is.

Welcome, welcome! Okay, what's new? Check out the Genesis Project Universe button, it'll take you to a page that kind of gives a run down of what Genesis Project is and what's available now and what's coming soon or in the works. We're getting closer to the release of the books and in celebration we're having a giveaway extravaganza... erm... well, at least we're giving two books away... and a poster of a book... Heirs of Ashes... yeah, that sounds good... ooo, that sounds really good, I want to get in on somma that action. Okay, so here's the plan, being how one can't get something for nothing, we're going to hit you up with a two pronged attack. First read the website features and bone up on your Genesis Project lore. Then create a character that will fit into the Genesis Project universe to be used in the forthcoming Genesis Project web comic by W.E. Gathercoal. So, not only do you get books and a poster, you get to add to the universe! Only one will be selected, only one will win, only one will get a pizza... if they buy it and then eat it, while creating their awesome GP character!

So, study your Genesis Project.

Create a character that will fit into the universe, any class or type of person you want... bums to kings, it's open.

You will need the looks of your person and a write up on hers/his history. If you are a... person that likes to draw, send us an image, no larger than 300X400... because we live in the boondocks and have the slowest of internet.

Then, when you have your creation... created, send it to us, via the comm-link button upside.

Entries are open until the first of March, the next day the winner will be announced and the books and poster will be on the way. Also we'll get in contact with the winner to deal with all of the icky gooies... all the boring legal stuff.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.... erm... it's a little late... Anyway, got some news. First off, Genesis Project is going to be advertised on Battlestar Galactica.com, go check out their site, they got some cool stuff, whether you like the old Galactica, or the... new... Yes, moving on... Norms gave us the idea to set up a shirt thingy on Zazzle, so hit the link there and make yourself a GP shirt on Zazzle. Books are coming out in February, so tell you friends. Erm... I don't know what else is going on... oh! We've started Genesis Project: Dawn of Devils the movie and let me say, it is already looking awesome. We'll maybe put some screen shots on soon... so, that should be it for now. Oh, Comm Link is working again, so e-mail us. Also, V.D. Ramsey's project, Black Sunrise is going through some changes. It's probably going to be a bunch of computer generated short movies. He's in pre-pro right now, so the online comic that's featured now is more a teaser of things to come than anything else.

Website gets a face-lift:

The Genesis Project Universe website has been given a face-lift to go along with the forthcoming re-release of After the End, Comes the Beginning and the release of Heirs of Ashes. The face-lift should make things easier to find. Most of the new links are linked, others aren't yet and serve instead as teases for new features that will come on line in the new year.
